SOUTHWEST BROOK, N.L. — Police are investigating the sudden deaths of two people whose bodies were found in a cabin in western Newfoundland on Monday.

The RCMP says in a release that the bodies were found at about 10:30 a.m. in the Southwest Brook area, about 20 kilometres east of Stephenville.

Police say the major crime unit is involved in the investigation and the identification section is assisting.

Investigators say further details will be released once autopsies are completed Wednesday in St. John’s.
