TRURO - Town officials are monitoring the progress of hurricane Bill.
The town's emergency measures committee discussed the hurricane yesterday and will be watching the regular updates from the Canadian Hurricane Centre. "We are paying close attention to it and we don't want to be caught off-guard, as we were somewhat by hurricane Juan," said Truro Mayor Bill Mills.
Town officials are also in contact with the regional EMO officials and will release more information as needed.
