TRURO - Local church congregations are being asked to make lots of noise next weekend.
Churches are encouraged to ring bells, bang pots and make noise 350 times on Dec. 13 at 3 p.m. as a sign of warning and hope for climate justice.
The initiative is a reminder that carbon emissions need to be reduced for a healthy Earth.
The World Council of Churches is calling on all churches around the globe to ring their bells to coincide with an ecumenical service they are organizing in Copenhagen at the height of the meetings on climate change.

Why don't the churches stay outta politics and say, maybe help the poor some?
