YARMOUTH, N.S. - An American-based air charter company will begin running a scheduled passenger service between Yarmouth, N.S., and Portland, Maine starting next month.
Twin Cities Air Service of Auburn, Maine has been flying since 1992 and is licensed to serve the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Bermuda and Central America.
An official announcement is expected shortly.
The company will use a seven-seat Cessna for its new service which will operate at least four days a week beginning Mar. 8.
Yarmouth has been without air service since Starlink Aviation of Montreal pulled out last December.
