LOWER SACKVILLE, N.S. - A 17-year-old youth charged with second-degree murder is still being held in a Halifax hospital.
Defence lawyer Stan MacDonald appeared in Halifax youth court Monday on behalf of the teen.
The judge granted MacDonald's request that the matter be adjourned until Friday.
The teen will remain in custody at the IWK Health Centre.
Police found the body of Joyann Wright, 49, in her home in Middle Sackville on Friday afternoon.
The teenager, whose identity is protected because of his age, was arrested while walking naked on a Lower Sackville street.
