Police say woman seriously injured in N.S. after collision between car and train

WINDSOR JUNCTION, N.S. - RCMP say a woman has suffered life-threatening injuries after a Via Rail passenger train collided with a car in Nova Scotia.
Police say the train, with 46 passengers, collided with the vehicle just after 1 p.m. today in the Windsor Junction area north of Halifax.
RCMP Const. Tamu Bracken says the 60-year-old Halifax County woman was taken to hospital in Halifax.
She was the car's lone occupant.
RCMP say the train was travelling from Halifax to Montreal when the incident occurred.
