Upper Kennetcook artist to be featured for month of June

TRURO – A Stellarton native now living in Upper Kennetcook is this month’s featured artist at the MacLellan and Moffatt Financial Gallery.

David Collier studied painting, drawing and illustration at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, graduating from the fine arts program in 2006. He has since lived and worked in Halifax, Montreal and Peterborough, and has consistently been active in his local art communities.

He’s exhibited his work in galleries, art fairs and other venues throughout Canada, has illustrated several musical groups’ album covers, and has donated artwork to charitable organizations.

His work will be on display in the gallery at the Marigold Cultural Centre until the end of the month.

An opening reception begins at 6:30 p.m. on June 4.
