PICTOU – Local musician Gordon Tucker will be a part of the Summer Sounds of Nova Scotia at the deCoste Centre this week.
Tucker, long a mainstay of Nova Scotia’s musical community with his knowledge and performance of traditional Maritime music, will join musical host Robbie MacInnis for the performances on Tuesday to Thursday nights. All shows begin at 8 p.m.
Joining MacInnis and Tucker will be Ann Holton, a classically trained singer whose vocal talent puts tunes into a whole new perspective. Her father, Bruce, will accompany her on the guitar.
Rounding out the show will be fiddler Fleur Mainville, with Ray Stewart on guitar.
Tickets are available at the deCoste box office, at the door, or online at www.decostecentre.ca. For more information, call 1-800-353-5338.
