TRURO – Award-winning musician JP Cormier is bringing even more light to a topic that is becoming more prevalent – post-traumatic stress disorder.
Cormier is expected to perform the new song, Hometown Battlefield, during his appearance in Truro next month with Symphony Nova Scotia. The event, titled ‘Hootenanny for Hospice,’ is in support of the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society.
‘Hometown Battlefield’ addresses the struggles soldiers face after returning home after serving on active missions.
The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. at Cobequid Educational Centre in Truro on May 10.
