Charges pending after car collides with P.E.I. potato truck; three injured

CENTRAL BEDEQUE, P.E.I. - Charges are pending after a car hit a potato truck in Prince Edward Island, sending three people to hospital.
The accident occurred Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Route 1A and Route 10 in Central Bedeque.
Two females in the car and the driver of the truck received unknown injuries.
The potato truck flipped on its side and potatoes spilled across the highway, which was closed for several hours for cleanup.
The RCMP said the initial investigation determined that the driver of the car failed to yield the right-of-way at the intersection.
