Official hurricane storm watch has been issued by Canadian Hurricane Centre

TRURO - Hurricane Bill has prompted the Canadian Hurricane Centre to issue its first official tropical storm watches and warnings as well as a hurricane storm watch throughout the region.
The latest forecast for Truro and area calls for winds of up to 80km/hr and between 50 to 70 millimetres of rain, with up to 110 millimetres in the areas of heaviest rain.
Rainfall warnings have been issued for all of Nova Scotia and eastern Prince Edward Island for tomorrow, with total amounts ranging from 75 to 150 millimetres.
Hurricane-force winds of 120 km/h, with gusts to 140 km/h, are expected to affect eastern Nova Scotia and southern Cape Breton.
