Bill Casey honoured during Maclean's magazine awards

TRURO - Former Cumberland-Colchester-Musquodobit Valley Independant MP Bill Casey is one of three Nova Scotia MPs honoured during the annual Maclean's magazine Parliamentarian of the Year Awards.
Casey, who recently retired to become the province's representative to Ottawa, was named as the best constituency MP. There are seven awards, which are voted on by all members of Parliament. The honours were handed out earlier in the week. Halifax MP Megan Leslie was named the best rookie and Sackville-Eastern Shore MP Peter Stoffer was selected as most congenial for the third year in a row.
