Bearcats down Lumberjacks

The Truro Bearcats downed the CIBC Wood Gundy Lumberjacks 5-4 Saturday night in Truro.

Travis Moore led the Bearcats with two goals and an assist while Kyle Morrison added one of each. Other Truro goals came from Daniel Perigo and Philip Fife.

Truro went 2 for 6 on the powerplay while Bridgewater went 1 for 4.

Jacob Fancy stopped 22 of 26 shots for the win while Billy Clarke stopped 27 of 32 shots in the loss.

Attendance at the Truro rink was about 635 people.

Truro's record is 11-0-0-1; the Lumberjacks' record is 4-12-0-0.
