Brookfield Elks suffer a loss to Glace Bay Jr. Miners

The Brookfield Elks suffered a 3-2 loss to the Glace Bay Jr. Miners on home ice Saturday night.

Brookfield goals were scored by Daniel Bates and James Shapeligh on the powerplay.

Brookfield’s record is 1-5-0-0; the Miners improve to

5-2-0-0.

The Elks return to play on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in Brookfield when they face the Antigonish Farmers’ Mutual Jr. Bulldogs.
