TATAMAGOUCHE - The Barrachois Community Hall Association will host a dinner and auction to raise funds to repair Barrachois/Tarbet Hall.

The event will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion hall, Tatamagouche on Saturday, Oct. 13 beginning at 5 p.m. with musical entertainment by Jeff Alcorn and Dana Jefferson and a chance to view the items donated by businesses on the North Shore for the auction.

Supper will be served at 6 p.m., including a menu of fish chowder, chili, rolls, biscuits and desserts.  

A live auction featuring guest auctioneer Peter Mattatall will follow at 7 p.m. Tatamagouche resident Mae Clarke has donated a hand-crafted throw to be raffled during the auction.

Tickets for the supper are available at the door or from members of the association, as well as in advance at Tatamagouche businesses Scotiabank, C.G. Fulton's Pharmacy and Home Hardware.
