The Truro Blue Bombers have taken sole possession of third place in the NSMFA Pee Wee division standings.  The Bombers had a decisive 22-12 win over the visiting Timberlea Titans, under the lights, on Friday night at the TAAC Grounds in Truro.

The Bombers fell behind early in the first quarter, but dominated on both sides of the ball from that point on with Riley Carmichael and Cameron Crowe leading the way offensively.  Defensively, the Bombers smothered the Titans repeated attempts to sweep outside after the first quarter and was impenetrable up the middle with Mackie Hart, Dylan Benoit and Julianne Johnson providing the biggest punch.

The Bomber coaches are all extremely pleased with the all-around team effort that the kids produced last night and are proud of the accomplishments of all the players.

The Bombers are now focusing on their next game as they hit the road once again to face the Southshore Seahawks next Saturday at Kinsman Field in Bridgewater.  Kickoff is at 2 p.m.
