Stewiacke robbery suspects arrested

STEWIACKE – Three people have been arrested in connection to a robbery of the Stewiacke Pharmasave.

The incident occurred last Monday and involved a quantity of prescription pills and cash. Indian Brook resident Jodi Sanipass, 18, is facing numerous charges including robbery. He has been remanded into custody and is to appear in Truro provincial court today.

A 20-year-old female was released to appear in Provincial court at a later date, and a 40-year-old man was released without charges.

Colchester District RCMP have been working with RCMP in Elsipogtog, N.B. and located the suspects in New Brunswick. They were taken into custody without incident during a traffic stop in Elsipogtog.
