BRIDGEWATER, N.S. - A Nova Scotia man sentenced last year for stealing more than $29,000 from the Lunenburg local of the Canadian Auto Workers has been charged with breach of probation.
David Harold Mossman of First South, Lunenburg County, was ordered last year to pay back $15,000 while on house arrest for a year and the rest while on probation.
Legal-aid lawyer Cathy Benton said in Bridgewater provincial court Wednesday that Mossman is being charged with failing to pay restitution.
Benton asked that his plea be set over for six months, saying that might be of benefit to Mossman.
The Crown agreed and the case will be back in court July 7.
