Police seize drugs in East Mountain

EAST MOUNTAIN - Police seized marijuana, magic mushrooms, other drugs and paraphernalia during a search of an East Mountain home on Wednesday.
The search occurred around 3 p.m. at an East Mountain Road home. Police seized about a half a pound of harvested marijuana, magic mushrooms, a small amount of what is believed to be cocaine, pills, pepper spray, a compound bow and a baseball bat, located near the drugs.
A man was arrested and released but charges are expected under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Criminal Code of Canada for weapons charges.
