Cause of morning trailer fire under investigation

BEAVER BROOK - A trailer fire in Beaver Brook is under investigation by the fire marshal.
Cobequid District Fire Brigade responded to the blaze on Chase Lane at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Cobequid fire chief Charlie Baird said the blaze appears to have begun in the kitchen area and was contained to that space. The trailer is a rental property and no one currently lives there.
The cause of the fire, said Baird, is undetermined and under investigation.
Fire crews from Cobequid, Hilden and Onslow Belmont were on scene about two hours.
