DARTMOUTH, N.S. - A month-long police operation against street-level drug dealers has ended with 12 arrests in north-end Dartmouth.
Officers seized crack cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs during raids early Wednesday.
They also arrested 10 men and two women ranging in age from 22 to 57 on drug trafficking and possession charges.
Nine search warrants were carried out in a project dubbed Operation Implicate.
One of the accused - 46-year-old Reginald Lorraine Brunt - was sentenced in 1996 to six years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter in a 1994 killing.
