Tatamagouche Road hockey rivals will face off at Mikes
Foodland in Tatamagouche on Sunday at noon aiming to attract a giant crowd of spectators.
An Outdoor Life Network film crew has been in Tatamagouche since Monday filming footage for its Road Hockey Rumble reality show, inspired by the theme Anna Swan.
The second episode of its second season will feature one team with players taller than six-foot two-inches and a second team with players less than five-foot eight-inches.
Hosts Calum MacLeod and Mark McGuckin spent time
yesterday recruiting team members and visiting local attractions, including Big Als Acadian
Beverage Room, as well as the Fraser Cultural Centre which housing an Anna Swan exhibit.
Today, team captains will
continue recruiting members and visiting popular sites around the village. They will decide the humiliating punishment the losing team will suffer in front of OLN cameras and spectators following Sundays match.
