Freightliners stopped by Warriors in bantam football

TRURO - The Truro Freightliners suffered a 22-8 loss to the Halifax Warriors in their recent Nova Scotia Bantam Football League contest at the TAAC Grounds.
The setback came on the Truro Minor Football Association's alumni night, which honours former players, coaches and
volunteers.
Quarterback Christian Cameron connected with Ben Petrie for the lone Freightliners score. Christian Zolkivsky scored the two point convert.
Defensively, big hits were provided by Nick Simpson, Drew Smith, Donald Fisher and Robert Ellis.
The Freightliners are now fighting for third place with their final regular season game coming Sunday on the road in Cape Breton.
