  • Place : Visual Voice Fine Art
  • Time : 19:00
  • Contact : Nuri Guerra
  • Details : Visual Voice Fine Art is proud to present My Favorite Places, a solo art show with new works by Carol Morrison. Can you picture your favorite places? Artist Carol Morrison captures her travels through Nova Scotia, the Maritimes, and beyond. She paints something striking about each location, the weather at a particular moment, the play of light and shadow in a landscape, the colour, a feeling. Her expressive use of brushstroke is very evident up close, but dissolves into a realistic painting the farther you move away, giving you two different views and sentiments, making evident the medium. Find your favorite place among Carol's, by visiting Visual Voice Fine Art gallery in downtown Truro from October 19 to November 14. Meet Carol and hear stories about her techniques and favorite places, join us at the opening reception on Saturday, Oct 17 from 7 to 9pm. The gallery is located at 128 King Street in downtown Truro, Nova Scotia.
