TRURO - Best selling author Max Telligan is dead!
At least that's what the newspaper reports, shocking his secretary Liz and soon to be ex-wife Harriet and even Max himself when he returns from Munich very much alive.
Welcome to Hubtown Theatre Society's presentation of A Touch of Danger.
The odd scenario launches a series of occurrences that become more and more complicated and even more dangerous when an array of secretive men and government agents arrive with numerous questions for Mr. Telligan.
Not only is the government interested in his time in Germany and what he may have brought back with him, they also have an eye on his soon-to-be published private diary. The government, however, is not alone in its interests as a terrorist group also takes notice with deadly results.
The play stars Ralph Bastarache as Max Telligan, Shannon Fielding as Liz Ferber, Claudette Priddle as Harriet Telligan, Andre Myette as Jeff Seago, Mike Benjamin as Llyod Mitchell, Brian Sears as Graham Digby, Kelly Morehouse as Connie Palmer and Laurence Tuttle as Vincent Crane.
The event was originally scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and is now re-scheduled for 8 p.m. Feb. 28, 29, March 1, 6, 7 and 8. Performances will take place at the Marigold Cultural Centre.
Ticket information can be obtained at the box office or by calling 897-4004.
