TRURO - The night of ghosts and goblins was a quiet one in Colchester County.
Both the Truro Police and the RCMP were busy on patrol, but didn't receive calls for any major incidents.
"It's been quiet the past few years," said Truro Police Sgt. Lee Henderson. "It's not like it was years ago."
The RCMP responded to small fires, eggings and a noisy party. Neither law enforcement body expects any charges to be laid.
Sgt. Henderson said that's what he likes to see. "It's nice to see that people aren't going around vandalizing and that they're being responsible," he said. "It's a time for the kids to go out and enjoy themselves and not a time to dress up and cause havoc in the community."
