Hubtown Youth Fun Run

MAY 10 – Sixth annual event, silent auction. For the Cobequid Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. 7 p.m. until midnight at The Pond in Bible Hill. Music by Ben Edwards, Cod Liver Oil, Tim Bowers and Irish Mythen. 50/50 draw, egg raffle blitz. Admission: $10. Relay for Life fundraising dance

MAY 10 – Team Boo-Bees. 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Royal Canadian Legion, Truro. Music by Double Heart Services. Must be 19 years or older. Door prizes. All proceeds for Relay for Life. Tickets $10 at the door.

 

Mother’s Day dinner

Fundraiser for Reginald J. LeBlanc

MAY 24 – Truro Horseman’s Club. LeBlanc was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. Fundraiser for his treatments. Butch and Friends will entertain. Lunch, 50/50, auction will be available.
