Old-fashioned cinnamon rolls

3 cups flour

3 tsp. baking powder

1 cup milk

1 cup shortening

1 tsp. salt



  1. Cut in flour and shortening.
  2. Add baking powder, salt and milk.
  3. Roll out and sprinkle with brown sugar after spreading with butter and cinnamon first.
  4. Roll up and slice.
  5. Bake at 350 F for 15 to 20 minutes.

Tastes good warm.
