TRURO - The federal candidate nomination meeting for the Cumberland Colchester Musquodoboit Valley Liberal Association will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12.
Two candidates have thrown their hats into the ring: Jim Burrows, a dairy farmer from Green Oak, and Tracy Parsons, a business executive from Bible Hill.
The meeting will take place at Redcliff Middle School in Valley.
Registration starts at 2 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 3 p.m.
Those eligible to vote at the meeting are Liberal members who have joined or renewed their membership with payment received at the Nova Scotia Liberal Party Office by Aug. 31 at 5 p.m. For more information contact riding president Eleanor Norrie at 895-3846.
