On July 7th at the North River Elementary School TNR 4-H club held its annual achievement day. A time where youth show off the hard work they have done throughout the year whether it be with livestock or life skill projects. It is a day where everyone is rewarded for the hord work. Andrew Magee showing his beef cow was awarded Top senior Memeber for the TNR Club. This is quite an accomplishment for a young man who attended numerous meetings, events and workshops.Sure to be a leader for the future.
TNR also made a donation of $400 to the Colchester SPCA through a pay it forward project. The kids were given 25 dollars to increase in any way possible and donate to a charity of choice. President Yvonne Higgins was on hand today and was pleased to accept the check.
