Bible Hill company to be recognized at provincial export awards gala

HALIFAX - A Bible Hill business is one of nine companies from across the province to be recognized at this year's Export Achievement Awards.

Dalton Industries, a snowmobile and ATV parts provider located on Vimy Road, will receive the award at the 30th annual gala in Halifax on May 29.

"Exporting drives growth in revenues for businesses and

increases competitiveness, both domestically and internationally," Michel Samson, the minister of economic and rural development and tourism, said in a news release.

The keynote speaker for this year's event is James Surrette, president of Surrette Battery in Springhill, Canada's only independent battery manufacturer and one

of the industry leaders in North America.

The awards ceremony is presented by Nova Scotia Business Inc. and the

Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, and will be at the World Trade and

Convention Centre, 1800 Argyle St., from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more
