“We’re really aiming for the first of April,” said broker/owner Louise Parker, of the “EXIT Realty 1st Call office she is opening along with co-owner Valerie Knol.
The pair currently owns the EXIT Realty office in Elmsdale, which they opened about a year ago, and after realizing the business demand that they see in Truro, they decided to expand their reach into the market.
“Because Exit Realty doesn’t have a big presence in Truro and we see a real opportunity there for the way Truro is growing. It’s the next logical step for the growth of our office here in Elmsdale,” Parker said of the reason for coming to the Hubtown.
“It’s growing. It’s doing really well, especially in our area,” she added, of the real estate business of late.
“And Truro actually had a few more MLS sales then we did down here … so that was one of the reasons that we looked towards Truro.”
The office will be located at 7 Dominion Street, near the corner of Prince, and initially will include four agents, including Parker, who is also in the process of moving to Truro to live.
But Parker said she also plans to expand on the operation once she gets settled in.
“I think once we’re up there and establish ourselves with some business going on I think people will see the difference that EXIT brings to the real estate business,” she said.
