TRURO - Credit union workers in the Truro, Bass River and Amherst branches have unanimously rejected the employer's final contract offer.
Approximately 24 workers of CAW Local 2107 voted 100 per cent on Thursday to reject the offer, union national representative Carla Bryden said, in a news release.
"The employer's refusal to recognize the union and poor working conditions have led to a unanimous rejection of the employer's final offer," she said.
Bryden said employees are working in "extremely stressful" conditions in which employees' concerns are totally disregarded by the employer.
The contract has been expired since Dec. 31, 2010.
