Nova Scotia

NSP is establishing a series of regular consultation meetings with municipalities across the province to deal specifically with electrical system reliability.

The committee is described as an opportunity for municipalities to have direct input into the planning and priority-setting process at NSP as well as examining the impact that such decisions have on individual communities.

NSP has broken the province into eight regions, with two representatives requested from each of Nova Scotia's 55 municipalities.

The committees are to meet at least twice a year.
