TRURO - Truro's outside workers will vote Thursday night on a tentative contract its union negotiating committee has reached with the town.
The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 734 president Jason Burke could not speak about the details of the proposed contract because his membership has not seen them.
The last contract was for four years and ended April 30, 2009 while negotiations on the new contract began in early October.
There are roughly 50 employees, including seasonal workers, represented by the local.
