Hedley has announced it will perform at Centre 200 in Sydney, March 17.
The Vancouver punk-pop quartet Hedley, fronted by Jacob Hoggard, announced details of a cross-Canada tour Wednesday, and the list includes a March 17 show at Centre 200 in Sydney. According to Hedley's website tickets will go on sale Nov. 16 at 12 p.m.
VIP packages will be available in advance online, beginning Thursday at 10 a.m., and there will also be a presale Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. for people interested in securing the best seats and buying tickets before the general sale.
The 'Wild Live' tour, which begins in February, is in support of the band's fifth album, titled "Wild Life," which is set for release this Monday.
Hoggard first rose to national prominence as a finalist during the 2004 season of the television talent contest "Canadian Idol," where he proved a major fan favourite. In 2005, he formed Hedley with guitarist Dave Rosin, bassist Tommy Mac, and drummer Chris Crippin, all of whom previously teamed up in the Vancouver band Everything After.
Hedley's only other Nova Scotia date on the tour is in Halifax, March 18.
In a release the band stated: "It’s that time we’ve all been waiting for – we’re going on tour! We can’t wait to see all of your familiar faces again, and some new faces too because we’re going to places we’ve never been to before!"
