BIBLE HILL - Augusto Enriquez and Truro's Jeff Goodspeed will join forces for a Friday night performance at Roadside Willies.

Silvio Pupo will join the duo on piano, along with Larry Bjornson on bass and Dave Burton on drums.

The performance begins at 8 p.m.

Goodspeed, a saxophonist, is a graduate of the Truro Band Program under the direction of Ron MacKay.

Enriquez first performed in Nova Scotia last year.

One of the most famous singers in Cuba, Enriquez became a pop star in the 80s, leaving his life as a doctor behind. In the 90s he built a career as a classical tenor and toured the world playing with symphonies all over Europe and Latin America, including a gig with the famous tenor Luciano Pavoratti. Since 2000, he has been touring the world with his own Salsa Band from Cuba.

Enriquez and Goodspeed will sing some classic jazz tunes mixed in with a liberal amount of classic Cuban music.
