TRURO - Between now and Christmas, anyone in the spirit will find a good time at one of the many performances being held in Truro.
Bette MacDonald is at the Marigold Cultural Centre this week, with her two remaining shows today and tonight. The matinee begins at 3 p.m., while the evening performance starts at 7:30 p.m.
Friday will see Sons of Maxwell bring their Christmas show to the Marigold, followed by Terry Kelly on Sunday.
The Barra MacNeils will perform at the Marigold Thursday and Friday of next week (Dec. 15 and 16), while Cobequid Educational Centre will host the Irish Rovers on Wednesday and their famous song, ‘Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.'
Any seniors buying a ticket this week to see the Irish Rovers will receive a complimentary ticket to see Terry Kelly.
Dave Gunning will bring his Christmas special to the Marigold on Dec. 17, and Bruce Guthro and his son, Dylan, will perform the following evening.
Tickets are remaining for some of the Christmas shows and are available at the Marigold's box office or website (www.marigoldcentre.ca), as well as MacQuarries Pharmasave.
