Edmonton artist stopping in Tatamagouche

TATAMAGOUCHE – Fables here is listed as a stop for Christa Couture’s second leg of her ‘The Living Record’ launch tour.

An adolescent cancer survivor, Couture’s latest album continues on from where her last album left off – trying to get back onto her feet after the death of her infant son.

The Living Record is ultimately an album about living – the aftermath of loss interwoven with new wisdom and experiences.

The album’s lead track and first single, You Were Here in Michigan, captures the moment Couture first felt happiness again - dancing naked in the rain at an American artists’ retreat.

Couture’s performance is March 14 at Fables, with a 7:30 p.m. start. Gabrielle Papillon will also be in attendance.
