Gala dinner and auction to support girls’ choir

TRURO – An annual gala dinner and silent auction are planned for this weekend in support of the First Baptist Girls’ Choir.

The choir is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and has a number of performances planned for the coming months, including Mother’s Day.

The gala dinner and silent auction will begin at 6 p.m. on March 3 at the Best Western Plus Glengarry in Truro.

On May 12, the choir will perform music to honour their mothers at the First Baptist Church beginning at 7 p.m.
