The event, which usually runs over a Saturday and Sunday, was postponed until this weekend from last week’s blizzard. With another storm in the forecast for Sunday, organizers have made the decision to combine the two days.
Choirs for Comfort will now be held on Saturday beginning at 3 p.m. at First United Church.
Performers include the Cantabile Boys Choir, Harmony Heights Elementary School Choir, First United Church Adult Choir, Creative Voices, St. James Presbyterian Church Male Chorus, New Glasgow Junior High School Choir, Treble Makers, Truro Elementary School Choir, Truro Youth Singers, St. Andrews Church Choir, Tatamagouche Area Singers, First Baptist Girls’ Choir, Cobequid Educational Centre Choir, Tonic and the Cantabile Singers.
There is no admission cost, however donations can be made in support of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. The event is dedicated to the memory of Lynn Erskine.
