TRURO - The province's Studio Rally is celebrating 20 years on Saturday and Sunday, and a number of local artists are included in that celebration.

Along the Fundy Shore, Heather Lawson and Joy Laking will participate in the weekend event with their Bass River studio and gallery, respectively. Danielle Sawada of Thrown Together Pottery & Art in Truro will be offering studio tours and demonstrations.

In Maitland, Ben McLellan's Inklings in Wood will be on display, and Gallery 215 in Selma will be open to the public.

MO'S at Five Islands, Bass River's Dominion Chair Company and the Masstown Market round out Colchester County participants.

Studio Rally promotes artists and their works throughout Nova Scotia, and lets visitors see the creative process in action while discovering uncommon gifts for any occasion.
