TRURO - A Colchester County woman is hosting a book-signing event at Coles this weekend.
Elizabeth Dillman-Hutchinson has returned to her roots over the past year and started writing last summer.
She woke on July 4, 2011, with the words, ‘God, are you listening?' and she started to write. In five books, she was complete.
Released last March, the book, by those same words she spoke, will be the center of her visit from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Truro Mall.
"The book is an honest account of my struggles and how I overcame them, as well as client stories," said Dillman-Hutchinson, who used to work in the social service sector in Williams Lake, B.C. "The book invites the reader to be honest with themselves and lovingly accept themselves despite whatever their journey might have been."
Dillman-Hutchinson will read from the book and also answer any questions readers may have.
