STEWIACKE - Three artists will be featured at an art gallery next month.

The Winding River Art Gallery will showcase works of Duane Van Meer, Gail Davis and Lois Golfman.

Van Meer, originally from Kingston, Ont., is a self-taught artist who focuses on oil and watercolour paintings. His interests include seascapes, portraits and stills.

Growing up in northern Saskatchewan, Davis works with acrylics, favouring contemporary realism with interests in nature and landscapes.

Known as the ‘Selma Potter,' Montreal's Golfman gets her inspiration for her pottery from the colours of the Bay of Fundy and tries to stay with organic shapes.

The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. For more information, contact the gallery at 639-1646.
