TRURO - Anyone on the fence about going to a few upcoming performances at the Marigold Cultural Centre better hurry and get their tickets.
Melanie Grant, who looks after fundraising for the Marigold, said things are going smoothly.
"For Bruce Cockburn's second show, we only have 95 seats left," she said yesterday afternoon in regards to the Feb. 20 event. "What you need to realize is that tickets just went on sale to the public (Wednesday)."
There was a waiting list for tickets for Cockburn's first show, which was rescheduled from last year. Those people on the waiting list have their tickets in hand.
Another quick-selling performance includes Classic Albums Live presents Led Zeppelin II on Jan. 24 with only 47 seats left.
"We are getting calls for tickets every day on that," Grant said.
Jimmy Rankin is set to perform Feb. 3 and Grant said 89 tickets remain.
Although Matt Andersen doesn't perform until May 5, tickets have been flying out the door.
"There are 52 tickets left. He has a cult following here," said Grant.
Each of the performances begin at 7:30 p.m.
