TRURO - A local resident has completed her sixth book.

Truro's Bonna Mae Chapman is the author of Missing Ella. The story centres around a middle-aged woman who has decided to change her life, her name, leave everyone she has ever known and start over. She moves to Parrsboro, which is the location for the majority of the book, with her new life.

The excitement of the new opportunity soon wears off, under the weight of new people and lost memories. Dramatic events force her into telling the secret she has kept for some time.

Missing Ella is Chapman's sixth novel and second adult novel. She will host a book launch on Saturday at Lisa's Emporium in Parrsboro from noon to 4 p.m.
